For parents of children with special needs

You have given everything. This part is for you.

I know the exhaustion that doesn't show. The appointments, the funding, the nights, the way your own life quietly moved to the bottom of the list. This is a group where none of that has to be explained.

For parents of children with special needs

Where this comes from

I remember it vividly: my healthy baby boy developing meningitis at three months old. Three months in hospital. He came home a child with special needs — spastic cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and more. Overwhelmed, insecure, devastated, tired and sad, yet happy he was still alive, we set off on the journey of his recovery.

Twenty-two years later he is still here, living a full and joyful life alongside his disabilities. Raising him taught me things I would never have learned otherwise — and the biggest one is that ease is not something you earn at the end. It's available now, and it's a choice.

Beyond the Challenge

Ten sessions, in a small group

  • Ten group sessions on Zoom, every two weeks, two hours each
  • Each session opens with a meditation or a movement lesson, so you arrive in your body before you speak
  • Then a real conversation on the theme — bring your questions, your edge, your week
  • A private Telegram group between sessions
  • Recordings of every session, so nothing is lost if life gets in the way
  • Ten to fifteen people maximum, so it stays safe and close

What we work through

  • Grief and acceptance

Not only at diagnosis. Grief returns at every new life stage. How do you ride that and still live fully?

  • Surviving, thriving, or living true

The swing between exhaustion and forced fun — and the third thing underneath both.

  • Relaxation and well-being

If I relaxed, my son relaxed. Your nervous system is part of your child's environment.

  • Where am I coming from?

Are we caring, or secretly still hoping to fix? Care from a different place is a different act.

  • Partnership

Divorce rates are higher among parents like us. What actually keeps two people together through this.

  • Who is on your team?

You get a say in which doctors, therapists and teachers surround your family.

  • Daring to dream big

What is still possible — without falling back into striving or martyrdom.

  • Let it be

The thing our children keep teaching us, and the hardest one to learn.

  • Seeing the perfection

The moment in the worst hour when everything went quiet and I knew all was well.

  • Integration

What you'll actually carry home, and how to keep it alive.
